We are looking for a qualified lawn maintenance crew leader, a “can do” professional with the necessary people skills, who is both customer and team-focused. This position requires:
Valid driver’s license and spotless driving record, as evidenced by DMV records.
Deep understanding of lawn equipment, how to maintain and operate it efficiently.
Evidence / skill in leading a team.
Evidence / skill in driving a truck with trailer and company equipment.
Professional ability to work well with others and outstanding communication skills.
Your job will be to deliver the highest quality lawn maintenance / service to every client
every week - to know the client’s needs and to meet them. You will be fully responsible for
the team’s client list and making sure the work is done correctly. You will lead a team that you are responsible for and will also report to a senior management team. You will be expected to arrive at the company shop Monday through Friday at 7am and work until the tasks for all clients are completed for that day.
The ideal candidate will be a non-smoker with certification(s) including USDA, ICPI, VNLA or other landscaping related field.
Work is normally 40 hours per week but occasionally weather-related, equipment-related and / or client-related issues will require weekend work to catch up.
Pay will commensurate with experience but will start at $12.00 per hour -- merit raises and job bonuses will be awarded based on performance factors such as customer satisfaction, job efficiency and overall crew performance. Salary with benefits will be offered to right candidate.
